Sunrise

Most mornings, we were socked in by fog and missed the early morning sunrise in Maine. It began to get light just after 4am, yes, 4-A-M. However, Friday morning, our last there, the sunrise was magnificent. We were all awake to see it and photograph it since Mike, Letha, and Jonas had to be up and on their way to the airport at 4am.

Dave 's first photo of the sunrise.
A bit later . . .

Later still . . .
We were even able to see the lobster boats out in the bay checking their traps. The bay was dotted with floats marking the individual lobster traps; we wondered why we hadn't seen them being checked; I guess they were being checked under the cover of fog.

Later in the morning, we continued to see the lobster boats. (I say later, we left at 8 am, but compared to 4, it is later.)
