Here are a few more pictures from our Minnesota trip. This was Gavin's second trip to the cabin, and the first time that he was old enough to go out in the boat and do some fishing. He had a great time.

Free labor was leveraged to clear some of the downed trees that had fallen in a storm a few weeks ago. Two of the trees fell on the roof of the new garage. The roof is steeper than it looks.
Gavin really enjoyed walking down the headwaters of the Mississippi in Itasca. He spent a long time playing in the water, and we had to pull him out because he didn't want to leave.
We cooled off with some ice cream thanks to GrandBob.

ReplyDeleteI loved it when Gavin said, "Mama are there sharks in that lake?" Only after being reassured by his mama that there were no sharks in the lake would he put his hand in the water. Too cute.
Ha! I hadn't heard about the shark story.
