Then One Day, I Just Decided to Run--Forrest Gump

Our sister-in-law, Letha ran the Disney Marathon today, her birthday. She is truly inspirational. Last April, she decided to run in a 5K in May. She trained a bit beforehand, but it seems running just comes naturally for her. In July, she ran the Peachtree Road Race, a 10K race. From there, she went on to the Little Debbie Half-Marathon. Today her running culminated in the Disney Marathon. She has done all of this while juggling a job with a demanding travel schedule and a MBA program at Georgia Tech.

Letha tells us that she is hanging up her running shoes and regrowing her toenails after accomplishing this feat.

Way to go Letha!!!

  1. I agree, it's truly inspirational. Letha has such determination, she can accomplish anything she sets her mind to.

I need to get more exercise--any exercise! I could NEVER run a marathon, but maybe a bit of walking.
