We celebrated a quite Mother's Day. After church, Gavin took a nap while Dave made me lunch. After Gavin's nap, we did a little shopping. My original plan was to spend the afternoon in the backyard on a blanket. The weather didn't cooperate. It was cloudy and unseasonably cool (in the 60s). I got lots of play time with Gavin.After Gavin went to bed, Dave cooked a delicious dinner for me. The steaks couldn't have been better. And the scallops were divine. It was a great day.
What a nice day. I wish someone had cooked me a dinner like that!
