The Great Kid Derby of 2011

In honor of the running of the Kentucky Derby this past weekend, we had a "Running of the Kids". Josh and Sara brought Avery and little Riley up from Austin for the weekend. We then headed over to Scott and Tonya's house for dinner and some fun.

The big kids are out of the gates first (they had to do three laps). The little jockeys got off to good starts and seemed to be having a great time.
AND DOWN THE STRETCH THEY COME! Gavin is in the lead, and he wins the first annual Kid Derby by a length and a half!

The race was so much fun that all the kids kept riding around after the race was over.
