The Mighty Mississip'
Near the cabin is Itasca State Park, home to the headwaters of the Mississippi River. One of the cabin traditions is to go dip your toes in the headwaters on your first visit. So, we had to take Gavin over on Friday afternoon. We'll go back in a few years when he's big enough to splash in the waters himself.
