Gavin and I spent a good deal of time playing at the cabin. It was great to be able to lay his quilt out on the grass and enjoy fresh air. The chipmunks didn't mind that we were sharing their yard, as they busily stored the sunflower seeds that were put out for them. We watched ducks learn how to swim and dive in the lily pads. We saw a mama bullhead swimming in the shallows with hundreds of her minnow babies. We watched the clouds; we watched the birds; we watched the lake.
Sometimes our playing was conducted inside .
And, sometimes, on very special occasions, Mama gets to motor the boat. Watch out!!!
Loved having the little ones at the cabin--it's the circle of life. We're rearing the next generation of fishermen.
