Easter 2013

Another quick post about our Easter activities.  Gavin has become quite the egg hunter this year.  Last year he wanted to open up each one before looking for another.  But he has now perfected his technique.  He LOVED getting packages from both grandmas.  He wants to check the mail every day now to see if he has gotten a package.

At the ECDC's egg hunt, Gavin's bunny ears tore just as they were about to head out the door.  Poor G was walking around picking up eggs and sobbing because his bunny ears were "broken".  A quick promise that Daddy would fix them made it all better and he continued the egg hunt.

Gavin's 4th Birthday

Gavin's 4th birthday was a long drawn out affair.  He had a party at school for all February birthdays earlier in the month, and then had a week long extravaganza with Monster Jam, cake and presents on his actual birthday, and a party with his friends at Paradise Pond.  A good time was had by all, and we can't believe that it has been four years already.  And yes, there were lots and lots and lots of Angry Birds.

Miranda and I never thought that we would be watching monster trucks live in person.  But when you have a 4 year old, you do things you would ever think about doing on a pretty regular basis.  We had fun, but Gavin was tired half way through and wanted to go home.  It may be a few more years before we take him to one again.
